The Historical Society of Alberta
The Historical Society of Alberta was incorporated by a statute of Alberta in 1907. Since 1953 the HSA has published a quarterly journal, Alberta History, including scholarly and popular articles on a broad range of subjects and geographic areas. The Alberta Records Publication Board and HSA committee publishes primary source historical documents such as diaries, correspondence and memoirs. Our four regional chapters also have a mandate to publish or sponsor publications relating to local or provincial history.
